* This CD contains drivers for Windows 98/2000/Millennium.
* Please install the drivers following the sequence as chapter 2,3,4.
* The <d:> stands for the CDROM drive letter in your environment

* Standard Procedure:
      -> Right click MY COMPUTER
      -> Select PROPERTIES
      -> Click the DEVICE MANAGER tab 
      -> Expand <Device Type> to be installed
      -> Select <Device> to be installed
      -> Click PROPERTIES
      -> Click the DRIVER tab
      -> Click UPDATE DRIVER
      -> Direct the device manager to find the correct <INF Directory>
      -> Following directions to complete the installation process

      -> Select PROPERTIES
      -> Select IrDA Fast Infrared Port

      -> Click the ADVANCED tab
      -> Select Value to Vishay 6101E/6501E
      -> Press OK button

2H. Easy Start Button
      Use the Standard Procedure with
      <Device Type> = "OTHER DEVICES"
      <Device>      = "Unknown Device"
      <Directory>   = "d:\Win98\Esb"

* The only differences between Windows ME and Windows 98 is
  - No Mitsumi driver installation is necessary
  - No FIR driver installation is necessary
  - Replace the "d:\Win98" with "d:\WinME"
* Important Note:
  - You have to upgrade the ATI VGA driver default in Windows ME
  - You still need to setup the FIR to "Vishay TFDS-6101E/6501E"
  - Before to install the MDC driver, Pls make sure the SPEAKER already show on the task bar. 
* Please refer to Chapter 2

* The only differences between Windows 2000 and Windows 98 is
  - No Mitsumi driver installation is necessary
  - No FIR driver installation is necessary
  - Replace the "d:\Win98" with "d:\Win2000"
  - In Windows 2000, Replace the step 3 of Standard Procedure with
    "Click the HARDWARE tab and then Click DEVICE MANAGER button"
* Important Note:
  - You have to upgrade the ATI VGA driver default in Windows 2000
  - You still need to setup the FIR to "Vishay TFDS-6000" 
      -> Right click MY COMPUTER
      -> Select PROPERTIES
      -> Click the DEVICE MANAGER tab
      -> Expand "Infrared devices" to be installed
      -> Select "IrDA Fast Infrared Port" to be installed
      -> Click PROPERTIES
      -> Click the ADVANCED tab
* Please refer to Chapter 2

* Important Note:
  - The SPDIF function of the audio driver(LOGO dirver) default setting 
    is disable, If you want to enable SPDIF function pls fowller below step

* SPDIF function Enable/Disable standard procedure:
      -> Direct the device manager to find the correct <reg Directory>
      -> Double click the .reg file.
      -> Following directions to complete the installation process

98/ME:
   <Directory>   = "d:\Spdif\enable\"
   <File>        = "98ME_s_enable.reg"

Win2000:
